when the store first open last year
The store is located at Brooklyn, but it's pretty far away from my home. If we take bus and transfer to train, it takes at least 1 hour, sometime 2 hour if you count the waiting and walking time. (The bus stop is 3 blocks away, and sometime the buses only stop at major stop, so sometime we have to walk extra block.) The business went better than I expected, or at least when I was there (weekend) the store was busy. Especially this Saturday it was extremely busy, the whole salon was pack with people like it was a supermarket. It was so busy that my parent and me only eat a little bit of breakfast and didn't eat lunch we don't even have time to take a break. (I think it's because there's only 3 and a half people working and I count as the half. And for some reason, it seems that the customers plan come the same time at the same date, the more people in the store the more people come pact in. I have never do nails on actual customers before but I was force to work, because it's too busy, I learn as do the work. By the end of the night I was starving plus I didn't eat dinner the night before and I just got my brace lace. The Saturday Parson class just ended the Saturday before first weekend the store open, which was perfect. All 2000 copies of flyer run out like snowflakes and my mom planning to make 10000 more copies. (The flyers definitely help to bring the customer in, because a lot of costumers come with the flyer.) Even if we hand 100 flyer which means there will be at least 100 people will come, and those costumer will bring more customer if we do a good job, and hope this way we could keep the store running. You should come by and visit some day it's at 9410 Avenue L, Brooklyn NY 11234. Maybe after the regents I should look into business management or read books about how to run business. My parent doesn't speak English, which makes my job much harder, we already face allot of challenges and if I don't prepare my self and help them who else would.
